Default 92 Acura "i need help"

Hey i have a 92 Acura Integra,
I just got it running after i put in new spark plugs and spark plug wires and a new distributer cap and a new distributer module. now it finnaly runs..
when i went to test drive it last night I noticed that when i try to accelerate it starts shaking and the rpm's go kinda crazy on the guage. Anyone know what it is? I thought it might be the firing order but i checked and its not. O and when i sit at a redlight or somthing and just idle my car stals.
by the way it is automatic.
somone please help me.

Cheack the timing of the car you might have thron off the timeing when you changed the disbuter. Also you might have a Vacum leak u really notice your car wanting to stall so what i would do is take a can of carb. cleaner and spay it over yoor vacc. lines and if you car revvs.up alittle well you've found it

TouCheDZeRoo,

Check the connections for the coil/igniter if that was swapped out. From my experience, they need to be pretty tight.

To your knowledge is everything mechanically sound with regards to moving parts. For example, do you know the condition of the transmission, are the axles in good shape etc.?

ok, so i just changed my intake, i guess it did hae a vacume leak because its not staling any more. But now my only problem is that when i go into like 2nd gear the rpm's shoot between 3-6 and when i try to accelerate it slowly gains speed. anyone know what the problem is?
