Default 93 Integra - Da6 jdm bumper lights question

Hey,

I finally packaged it up on individual auctions, oem jdm stanley bumper lights, headlights and sidemarkers...

Anyhow,

I just started on putting them in and had a question,

I just did the bumper lights and the us wires/sockets fit in the jdm bumper lights.

Am I missing out on anything if I dont' rewire with the jdm wires and sockets?

Also,

I noticed they aren't lit when I drive with my lights on but of course they work when I use my blinker or flasher however,

Is there a way to keep them lit up in amber color while driving not only when using my hazards or blinkers.

In other words I want them lit at all times then when I use the blinker there still both lit up but whatever side is chosen will blink?

Peace.

No. It is a single element bulb, so there is no way to wire it to be on all the time AND blink. They do not stay on when you drive, only the corner lights. Other than maybe the wiring, there isn't anything different about the JDM sockets.

You can buy a universal dual fillament socket, & matching bulb at most autoparts stores. You could probably splice the spare wire into your corner lights. Shouldn't be too hard to pull off.

You could see if the socket from a G3 bumper light could be made to fit too.
