Default Problem with rear hub replacement....

Ive gotten down to the hub and when I went to pull it off, it seemed to come off pretty easy. But then I turned it over and noticed the bearings. The bearing has come apart and the inside half of the bearing is stuck on the shaft. The peice is very smooth and sits right up against the axle. there is nothing to grab on to.

I was thinking of using a 3 or 4 arm puller but the tips are way to big. I need something that has very thin edges in order to get behind the bearing.

I'm sure that this is a common issue. Please help. Is there a tool I don't know about??

thanks

You can use a cut off wheel to score the inner race, then use a cold chisel to break the race and then it will slide off. Just make sure that you dont cut the spindle.
