Default '92 Turbo Teg that goes into a retard mode...

I finally got my car running. 1992 Turbo'ed teg. I am running a 14b DSM turbo, with 320cc injectors, and a Vortec FMU for more fuel obviously. Now, I can run 2-3psi all day with half-throttle short shifting. Once I really beat on it and actually run my full 7-8psi that it's set at...my car goes into a "retard mode I guess". It will spit and sputter, until I restart the car... to reset it. I have tried a check valve off of the map sensor but doesnt work...please help. I wanna see the cars full potential. Any comments will help, thanks.

no...i didnt think I would have to for the first question. (not that much boost). And no again...where do I put the missing link....the only sensor on my throttle body is the TPS, the map sensor is on the firewall, thats why I tried the check valve. Thanks,

it usually installs under your map sensor, because the stock map is not ment to see boost your ecu puts your car into limp mode when there is boost pressent, the missing link is also know as a bipass valve,

question? does your check engine light come on after 4 or 5 secs of boosting? If so the missing link is your problem, check for one on ebay or at synapse here is there part number for your year and model #44717

Get real fuel management. Your car runs like ass and will continue to run like ass until you have something to properly manage fuel and ignition timing. Save your money on buying the missing link, sell off the FMU and have the car tuned with Hondata, Crome, whatever.

Or you could chip the OBD0 ECU and run turboedit since it is an OBD0 ROM editor.

But that is irrelevant since 92 is OBD1. h:
