Default Cheaper parts

Hey guys I thought I'd show you guys a good website that saved me a good bit of cash.

I went to advance to buy a distrib for my 92 integra. The price after tax was $377.00.OUCH!

I went to this site:
https://www.rockauto.com/dbphp/mak,ACURA,1992

And got it for over $150 cheaper, even with shipping.

The exact same part(Cordone select).

It got here fast with ground shpping.

For parts like the distributor, I prefer OEM only. What was wrong with the old one? I see a lot of people replacing the whole distributor when usually it is just the coil or igniter (ICM) that is bad.

"- If you are using our Java Catalog, enter your discount code (and no other characters or spaces) in the "How did you hear about us" line of the shopping cart.
- If you are using our non-Java Catalog, place the discount code (and no other characters or spaces) in the "Discount Code" field of the Shopping Cart and click "Calculate Discount".

I could not get that dang screw off the rotor.I looked at other distribs without rotors or the screw.I just went for ease, and wanted to get it over with.

Yeah, I suspect that is why there are so many used distributors on CL and eBay LOL. Very common problem. I had to take the whole thing out just to get the damn screw out on one of my cars.

I had to use vice grips, but I had to have it out and clamped into a vice to do it. Penetrant helps too...

Great parts lead. Thanks.

Impact screwdriver>needlenose visegrips>dizzy screw

There is barely enough clearance to get an impact driver on the screw and wack it.
