Default popping noise...

Lately I have occasionally been hearing a single loud "pop" noise coming from the driver's side front wheel area. This usually only happens when I take right turns. I replaced the CV axle halfshaft about 4 months ago so I don't think it's that but I could be wrong. Balljoints possibly or something else? I also have a fairly loud droning noise coming from the same area when I'm on the highway. Thanks in advance for any help.

could possibly be ball joints. jack your car up a bit so the tire comes off the ground a couple inches, and take a crow bar under your tire and lift it up and see if it has any play or any popping noise.

I can explain a little better when I get home im off work cya later tater

Since it occurs once per turn, I would bet on ball joint play over CV joint wear.
Also, the droning at highway speeds says wheel bearing wear to me. h:

My wheel bearing was god awfuly loud before I had it replaced, highway driving was torture. Feels like you have anew car once you get it fixed.

so how much can I expect to pay for a new set of balljoints/wheel bearings? Is this something I could do on my own?
