hey i got a question about my fans. my fans just stopped working one day.
but i checked the relay under the hood and they were fine but when i touched where the relays go with a volt meter and they started to run????
what do you think the problem is???? please help

 

There are two relays. Was it one of them or both? I would assume your relay(s) are bad seeing the fans turn on. How do you know the relay(s) are fine?

 

whenever my car gets hot (or when i turn on the a/c) and the cooling fan turns on, it makes an unbearable, extremely loud screeching noise. i know its gotta be the motor for the fan, but could it be something fixable or am I looking at some money to spend on replacing the unit?

 

Are you positive the fan is screetching, and not your belts or something else? Just wondering, because most of the time they'll just stop working.

I would just replace them with Slim Fans. They have them on HT, i think 2 is around $120. They also sell them at Autozone or Advanced fairly reasonable.
