Default removing rear main seal?

guys that took out ur rear main seal on ur gsr integra..how did you remove that seal...without having to take out the plate? what tools?.....also anyone have the part # on this rear main seal..? thanks

Your better off taking the plate out. You need to make sure you have to tools to drive the new seal in correctly. What is the year and trim(ls, rs) of your integra? You do realize you need to remove the transmission and flywheel to do this, right?

yeah i have a gsr 95, ill be changing my clutch and since there in the way i want to replace all them seals..

you have to remove the oil pan and that front plate. the plate is held on by like 8 10mm bolts. The rear main seal won't come out without taking that piece off.
