Um... hold on.

The ITR used OEM side skirts like any other DC2.
The difference was that they were painted body color.

If you're referring to the old Acura Optional Equipment bodykit skirts, they're going to look very strange without the front and rear lips.

Do you have pictures of these side skirts?

I'm thinking there optional JDM OEM sideskrits. Personally, I would get them with 98-01 style bumper but not the 94-97.. As far as quality, Ive heard that the chpaper "knockoffs" sometimes come without any pre-drilled holes or mounting hardware. Sometimes there twisted and out of shape also.

Ask them if there made of brital fiberglass proned to cracking, or a more flexible plastic/urethane.

BTW: Props to the car owner, it was the first pic I found.

what u are talkin about is the optional lip kit that was offered at one point in time... i have the full kit on my car, they no longer make this kit by the way, the kit consists of front lip, side skirts and rear valencies.. there are some companies that make knock off's however htey are fiberglass and don't fit well from what i have heard

here is a pick of my car

Yep he is def talkin about the oem optional kit. I have heard both sides about the replicas. Some fit great and others don't line up worth a shit so i guess its a gamble you take if you buy the replicas.

well i eventually want to go with the whole lip kit(98-01 rear bumper and rear valence, side skirts and front lip) yes its fiberglass, and if it fits well i would rather spend 235 shipped than 500 for just side skirts.

u will hate it if it is made out of fiberglass that stuff will crack on u so quick, the oem kit not only is more durable, but it mounts with soft mounts, so it actually willl allow the lip to move up and down

my 2 cents do it right or don't do it at all, casue it may look good for a little while but if u ever hit it anywhere it will be a nightmire

DO NOT get fiberglass. You WILL regret not spending the extra for the poly.

Yep, that is the OEM kit for any DC2, has nothing to do with the R. Personally, I don't think that kit looks that good. I love the lip, but the rear valance looks too "tacked on".
