Help. Please! My 1989 has a fuel pump issue. I have gotten a new fuel pump but my car still has trouble starting sometimes. I know that if I don't hear the "buzzing sound" when I turn the turn in the ignition my car won't start. I have to wait about 5-15 minutes before the car will start. The computer doesn't read any codes. Can anyone help me?

 

The modulator in the distributor may have gone bad.

 

Does the car not start when you are out and about on a hot day?

Does the engine turn and turn, but not start and hold idle?
