Default Stolen owners manuel

Hey guys, a couple nights ago my car seemed as thought it had been broken into. And by broken into I mean that I might have disarmed my alarm because it got set off at 1 in morning by a guy with huge bass kind of break in. But the odd part about it is that when I got in my car and notice that my passenger side door was ajar and my glove compartment was open, the only thing that was missing was my owner manuel and its fancy leather case.

I know that was a pretty bad run on sentence but I was wondering if there is any potenial danger to this, other than me being a dope and leaving my car unlocked again?

Thanks for your time.

They were probably looking for a valet key, alot of people keep them in the glove box. I'd keep an eye on the car either way.

Maybe they just wanted that fancy Acura keychain!

Did they steal your radio code to come back for it later?

^thats what I was thinking...or is there a way they can take that to a dealer and say OH I LOST MY KEY...CAN YOU MAKE ME A NEW ONE. Heres my Vin and bla bla bla

If I were you id put a kill switch on that bad boy AND relocate your hood cable ASAP!

Switch take about 1.5hrs and the hood cablke takes about 1hr
Well worth it man

If you need to get a replacement owner's manual and/or leather case, you can order a new one here, or watch eBay for used ones.

If the thief has your valet key, you've got a serious problem... :noes:

The cheapest and fastest theft deterrent to implement would be an Auto*Loc clutch lock.

when i was a wee teenager me and a buddy used to go around to parking lots and take stuff out of parked cars, never anything of value and we never broke anything. we just took stuff like cd's, tapes , spare change, owners manuels, sun glasses. assorted junk like that. it could have possibly been some kid out for thrills
