Default intermittant bogging (key on/off fixes it temp.)

My car is intermittantly falling on it's face (bogging) @ roughly 3k RPM... in any gear, can be while crusing, while accelerating.
i.e. accelerating from a stop, bogs at 3k.
i.e. crusing at 3k, part throttle on & off, and then suddenly starts to bog.

I tried cruising at a higher RPM, i.e. 4k RPM and it bogs at 4k intermittantly. I didn't take it much higher than that in to reduce any damage it may cause.

If I pull over, and restart the car, it drives normal for a little bit, and then will do the same thing again. While cruising, I just key on & off real fast to reset it (like when you're tuning and have the reset the ecu for updates) and it will drive normal again, but only for a little bit.

I changed out one of my injectors yesterday (used) because it was leaking fuel onto my intake manifold. Could an bad injector cause something like this to happen?

Any help would be appreciated.

One more thing, I am receiving NO CELs.

What temp is the car running at when it starts bogging? My car will bog after driving it around for a while or when it's really hot out.

it's definately possible that a bad injector could be causing this.

i'd also suggest looking at your fuel filter... it's a simple cheap fix and lots of times can makes a world of difference.

dont forget to check your spark plugs and plug wires... both of those could be at fault

Try checking your distributor...my 98 gs-r did the "bogging" like you mentioned at any rpm range but more so between idle and 3k, was bad enough that it bog so low and shut off......replaced my distributor cap/rotor and everything was fine.

btw: i had a msd set-up but doesn't hurt to just check it out

Thanks for the responses. It ended up being a bad O2 sensor.
