What other mods do you have? The throttle body usually isn't a choke point for air...

I am finishing putting a skunk2 manifold in my car tonight. It will raise your powerband, so hopefully you have other mods like cams, maybe a p&p head to support it. It's pointless by itself.

I would ditch that 68mm(too big IMO) throttle body cause that bad boy only has a 65mm openning if i am not mistaken, and u will need some sort of engine management cause your car will feel boggy(if GSR), cause u are going from a dual stage to a single stage mainfold, and you vtec will kick in too early, u will notice more of a gian with more mods, like cams, or some sort of FI.

I have the skunk2 intake with an ITR throttle body, and hondata gasket, but i am turboed and it's nice add IMO, but i have a lot more mods then you, so the mroe u have done the more that mainfold will be utilized

Yeah, I heard the sky was green. What the fuck is the point of this reply if you can only contribute false hearsay?

To answer the question, you will lose power with that combination unless you have a built N/A motor with high compression and aggressive cams or are boosted. It will shift your entire powerband toward top end.

^ yeah, that's how shit spreads. one person says its not good, then everyone thinks the same without any experience with it.

Schmoo...I heard the sky was orange. WTF is w/ Cali skies...BAH

ANYWHO ditch the throttle body and stay with stock. I got the Skunk2 IMO and loved it. I also had CAI and 4-1 headers.

After going turbo I loved it more.

BUT schmoo is right. IF you plan on going turbo get it. B4 I went turbo I had my ECU reprogrammed. I think I just needed more fuel due to more air coming in. IMO - its a nice upgrade. BUT with NA your not gonna be like "I GOT 20HP"

AND IT IS A PRETTY PRODUCT

try edelbrock, in a turbo & high-tech performance a skunk2 really lost power around 5000-7000rpm(like 10hp), it needed a remapped fuel curve fuel pressure regulator and ground wires to make i.3 peak horse power, which the highest gain was only after 8900rpm which was 12.1 hp and they claim they couldhave gotten over 20hp at 9500rpm, but u think about it thats only 10-18hpaverage for 600rpm, but lost more than 10average hp in the range u need to accelerate u foward, plus all the money u spent far as the manifold a fuel controller and ground wires, and this is a lsvtec, b16head ls block, i need a stock b16 intake manifold, and i'll be happy with that or use a edelbrock
