They are slow b/c of the cheap motor - gets weak w/ age
They slow down at spots b/c of cheap rubber around the window They hop b/c of the cheap material used on the railing.

To speed it up on the slow part, go to the honda shop and get some honda silcon, its a life saver can

When my windows became slow on my car I just took the window apart and clean the tracks and all that good stuff put it back together and it work like a champ.

I'm not sure but I would check the solution that doesn't cost anything first, especially since I didn't find it to hard to do. With my experience, this including a couple of friends also, anytime the window got slow the track cleaning did it. If your battery was weak you would most likely see the rest of your lights dim also because of the draw.
