I took the needles off.
One of the needles is weighted.
I do not know which needle goes to which.
Weighted to speedo, or clutch?

Speedo is the weighted one. Otherwise it would not drop in between shifts. Compare it to a flywheel. If it where not weighted what would happen? It would not work...

Possibly, and if so not by much, it should still function within actual range.

Well I hadn't tested it before I asked. I assumed they were both the same. So I tried to put the weighted one on the tach, and it was a no go. Fit perfect on the speedo tho. Thanks for the help, and I will let you know how far its off. Every car I have had has been off by 2-5 mph from the radar signs

Default New Problem

I NEED HELP. Is the Canadian cluster different then the USDM? My car has a canadian cluster in it. I got a USDM specificly for my car (91 LS) and the shop said none of the connections matched up so they couldn't put it in. I would do it myself, but I have no time. Or patience lol. And if they are different I am gonna need a new harness
