distributor gasket???

distributor gasket???

does anyone know if this a dealer item because the parts store are clueless on what this is

Dealer item. I would assume they are talking about the seal between the distributor cap and the distributor itself.

Ya that's it between the cap and the housing of the distributor. That figures it would be a dealer item. Do you have any idea what they might charge for that?

It sould come with the cap. It has to be pretty cheap, it is an O ring for Christ's sake

It doesn't come with the cap I already tried that but you are right it's real cheap. I found out it's a dealer item today when I called them to get one and thank god they only wanted a little over $4 for it because I'm a broke bish.
