Default Appropriate Struts to match Eibach Pro-kit Spring

Hi, like the thread title states, what would be a good match for Eibach Pro-kit springs? I've narrowed it down to KYBs, either GR-2s or AGX. Of course I would like to get the GR-2s because of the lower price, but not at the expense of ride quality and performance.

My car is a 1998 GSR for your information.

Thanks in advance.

I have KYB's on my car and I have the Eibach Prot-kit springs. It ride good with that setup, just make sure you get a camber kit or you'll tear up your tires. My camber is 1.5 off right now. (looking for a camber kit)

Also, when switching out your hardware between springs and struts, don't forget to put your bump stops back in or else you'll blow your struts out quick. I just cut my bump stops in half and left the thicker half of it on the strut.

Between the GR-2s and AGX, get the AGX. I'd also recommend Koni adjustables. More than the AGX with less adjustment, but they are very good shocks/struts also (probably a little better than the AGX). That's the exact setup on my DA right now.

I have pro kits and gr-2s and I like it, no complaints.

BTW no need for camber kits if your only dropping 1.5 inchs. Just get an alignment.

i wouldnt reccoment he gr-2's they are a bit siff with no adjustability. for the price the agx's are the way to go. in fact i have the agx's on my TEG and my 01 vic. the vic has pro kit springs as well and it actually rides better than stock with this set up. the teg i am running tien s techs though. not quite as good of a ride as the eibachs though. call dynamic autosports i got mine for a good price through them (949) 457-1234 ask for chip if he is there
