Default Gsr

So i was thinking of selling my car and buying a new gsr 98 to 01. I have a 96 ls se with 78,000 miles. So my two questions that i have are what do you think i should ask for my car and do you think i should buy a newer gsr? The resons i wanted to get a newer gsr are i wanted to get all black leather int. i wanted the B18c1 engine and my sunroof went out and windows are on there way so i thought i could postpone this by getting a newer car.

i'd say 7-9K on a clean title. GSR's are very rare and i'd spend up to about 9-11K to find one that has decent mileage

I just purchased a completely stock 98 GSR w/ leather interior and 98000k for $7100 in CA. I had to replace the timing belt and the clutch will probably be going sooner than later, but I think it was still a fair deal. The body has some scratches and such as well. It took me about 2 months to find it. Everybody else was asking 8-10k!!! Good luck on your search.

At the sake of sounding completely retarded, are GS-r's that rare? I've never really looked at specific models, but i always figured they were normal run of the line... Damn, now i have to do research.... lol

I paid 7500 for my 98. It had 78K. The guy was asking 9500 but the good thing was his wife & him had twin sons just born. It was all stock.

well gs-r's aren't rare but what is rare is finding one in good "working" condition, clear title, no accidents and overall a babied untouched car and one in all blk leather.....if you find one snatch it up, i miss my 98 gs-r ....i gotta get another one
