Default 87 timing belt change question

Im changing my timing belt and when you line up everything on tdc on #1 to put new belt on the marks on the cam sprockets want to tilt down just alittle.if you try to line them up straight across it feels like the cams are starting to bump the valves and the cams dont want to stay there when you start putting belt on.so do you leave them tilting down alittle or hold them up as your puttin belt on.i ran into the same problem on my Crv

Use something to put between the cam sprockets to hold them in the correct position. the teeth cannot be off even by one tooth.
