i just changed the oil. 5w30 and a fram filter. i dont think the filter will have anything to do with the noise. i had to change the oil anyway so good timing i guess. i think its the alt or injectors. i guess it gives me a good reason to get ITR injectors

Why would you get ITR injectors? They are identical to what you have now.

I'm assuming that the valves were recently adjusted. What's the oil level at I wonder?

my gsr made a similar noise when I was running 5-30 in my car. I had my valves adjusted, got some injector cleaner, and changed my oil to 10-30 and the noise almost totally went away. When the honda engines get a little older with more miles, it's a good idea to change to 10-30 b/c 5-30 just doesn't give you enough protection. It also depends on your location. Different altitudes and outside temperature ranges during the day make a big difference too. You are running n/a right?

yeah NA. injector cleaner?

when i turn the car on it sounds like a desiel, the injectors, but when i tap the gas the injectors stop making noise.

valves got adjusted no longer than 1 year ago.

changed the oil yesterday, no as a precaution, just that it was time to change it, sound is still there. the noise i hear in the car while driving, the ticking, im almost 90% sure its the alternator. when i spray that silicione the ticking in the car while driving almost goes away.

It's normal. Even when the valves are perfectly adjusted, you'll be able to hear them. Your injectors will also tick like a valve tap sound.

I adjust my valves every 3 or4 mounths or when I start hering that noise. I would also switch oil (Royal Purple).
