Yes it is terrible on the e-brake and axles. Drag racing isnt the only reason I have broken 4 sets of axles in a year. Right now my e-brake barely works to hold the car from rolling so no difting until a brake job and tightening my e-brake cable again. Also go to a junk yard and buy 4 tires and rims there.
