Default h&r + koni ???

im probably getting some h&r springs pretty soon, not sure if i want the stage 2 sports or the race springs. Is there that much of a difference in the drop? should only be 1.75 in (sports) vs 2 in (race). Also how is the ride on both of them, would the race springs be an alright ride on the street, and what are the spring rates for each one.
Ill also be getting some koni reds and a camber kit for the front and rear. Will the shocks work well with both springs or will the race springs be to much of a drop for them. Thanks for any info.

btw does anyone know the springrates on the skunk2 coilovers? just wondering

H&R Race springs are very stiff. The reason they're called "Race" is because they're stiff, not because of some insane drop that they provide. If you're just looking to lower the car and don't have any sort of competitive driving in mind I'd go with the Sport springs, they'll be a much more tolerable setup for daily driving.

The rates for skunk2 coilovers are 500/400 lbs F/R.

I have the Sports, and the ride is perfect. A little bumpy at times, but other than that-- good ride.

I had the H&R race and koni red's on my old teg, and it is REALLY stiff, but the look is awesome. Yeah it says 2 in. drop but after mine settled it was more like 2.5 to 3 inches. It handles like a champ. Like it's on rails or something.

I had 16" rims with 205/45 and with the springs I had a 1 to barely a 1 1/2 finger gap in the fenders. Hope that helps. Hit me up if you have any other questions
