Default advice on turbo n exhaust...

hey guys wats goin on? i wanted to see if anyone could help me with makin the desicion of what turbo kit to buy my car. i have a 97 gsr, i want a kit that can run on stop internals... for now, i do plan on buildin up the block n head. i have 130K miles on it, so u can see why i will rebuild. its gonna be an everyday driver, so i dont need a big turbo, nor do i really want one. i want a good turbo but with a lot of kick. i heard the DRAG kit was good, n i found a peak boost kit... any ideas? n i also wanted to ask on what should i go for in exhaust. should i go with 3 inch, or is that too much? i wanna go 7 or 8 on stock, n when i rebuild, i would like to go to around 15... so is the 3 inch necessary? or is 2.5 enough? i was lookin into thermal R&D... soo please if anyone has any suggestions, let me know. thanx

For power and drivability, I would recommend the Revhard kit with a better fuel management system. It will net some good gains on a stock motor at low boost and the kit is pretty solid.

For exhaust, I would recommend to get full 3" all the way back. It will allow the quickest spool time with little/no compromise in torque or horsepower. The Thermal 3" Turbo exhaust is a beautiful exhaust. If you don't feel like spending that much on an exhaust, www.kteller.com sells prebent piping, so you could pick out a custom muffler, resonator, cat/straight pipe, and bends for a 3" downpipe and it would be cheaper to do that.
