Default Finally gettin off my ass...

Im finally ready (that is have enough money) to start doing "things" to my 92' Integra. First off, Oil, do I want a synthetic? Secondly, can someone recomend good wires and plugs and anything else I should consider doing a tune-up on. Lastly, I was thinkin cold air intake, is it worth it? Are the ones on e-bay a scam?

Cold air intake is definatly worth it. That was the first thing i did to my 95 gsr and in my opinion it is probably the best bang for the buck. I got AEM and im really happy with it, it makes the engine sound great and you get a little more horsepower, plus it gets rid of that ugly stock airbox. You can pick one up for under 200$ and its pretty easy to install. You could probably get a used one for a good price too check out www.thepartstrader.com

Your car's old...switching to synthetic now may exacerbate any small leaks you have at the moment. I'd use Valvoline MaxLife. It's overall a nice high-quality oil with an additive package designed to condition seals to help prevent leaks.

ebay ones that are no-name intakes are ****. Go with aem or comptech or even injen or icebox. Some brand name, not a no name intake.

Yeah I use to use the maxlife in my
87' Ford Crown Victoria GT-R....
Sorry just trying to make it sound cooler than it was, but it did stop all of the leaks. So don't waste my time on ebay is what I'm hearing???

Spark plugs: denso, ultra fine 0.4mm iridium power

Wires: if you arent going to go to far performance wise the nology wires are very good.
