Default Increading the height of a lowered car

Hi,
I recently purchased an Acura 1994 Integra RS whose suspension had been lowered by the owner of the car. The problem with the car is that when I drive the car, I can feel all the minor undulations on the road and it is very uncomfortable. I am not sure if all the cars which have been lowered have the same problem. I am looking into highering the suspension of the car. Does any of you guys know how much it will cost to do it and what exactly I will have to do. The owner of the car is out of the country and there is no way I can contact him. Can I just go to Pepboys, Goodyear etc and get it done? Is it a standard procedure? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Hmm. There are a hundred different setups that a person could purchase to lower a car these days. If he bought adjustable coilover then yeah, you could have someone raise the car up a bit and they could balance the car as well.

But if it's just got some lowering springs then, no. You'd have to buy some taller springs or maybe some stockers to go on it. I mention stock pieces because it would probably be cheaper to buy a whole set of springs and struts off a junked car. And you wouldn't have to be concerned with camber adjustments, which were most likely made when your superlow gangster boy springs were put on.

Yeah, you need to know what is under there first.
1. If it is somewhat rigid bumpy it may be lowered w/springs and struts.
2. If is it wavy bumpy it may have been lowered w/springs only.
3. If it is warpath bumpy the springs may be cut on stock struts or lowered way too low w/cheap coilovers.

To raise the car back up after you determine what you have, you'll need the stock springs. You'll find more aftermarket lowering springs as opposed to aftermarket raising springs.

if the biggest thing that is bugging you is the way you feel the road I would definitely go back to stock shocks and springs. Most if not all aftermarket shock/spring or coilover combos will be stiffer and a little more bumpy than stock shocks.

When i bought mine it was lowered like 2.5 -3 in, and i went to LES SCWAB, and got a whole new eibach setup, and now its only 1.3" lower, and it rides Great, not bumpy or anything... The ONLY thing is that LES SCWAB ripped me OFF .... but thats what happens when u don't know shit, so don't go that way... just buy some stock springs, maybe struts too i dunno, and have someone install it, buy a Helms and do it yourself that would be cheapest

Im selling my stock springs on ebay. they are in good shape, but ya only got 1 day till the auction ends. If the car still has the stock shocks in it all you need is the stock springs (and a spring comressor)

i dont mean to thread-jack, but i was just wondering if you had any more input on how the eibach kit worked out for you. which one is it exactly and how much better does it handle? i plan to go with that set up at some point.
