Default how much should I lower to equal...

I have 15" and not lowered. I want 17". I don't want the 17" to look weird w/o lowering, if I had the 17" on, how much would I have to lower to make it look the same as 15" but NOT lowered?

and also, if 15" would lower it 0.5 - 1.0 inch be a waste, and might as well NOT lower it?

same goes if I had 17" on..

Are you talking about different wheel sizes? :eh:

If you're asking what I think you are asking... get the 17" wheels and tires, put them on and then measure the wheel gap.

Once you know how much space you've got to work with, you can then determine which spring and shock will work best.

What tire sizes?

A 205/50-15 tire is around .3" taller than a 205/40-17. If those are the tire sizes your looking at, the difference would be negligable. Lower it to where you like it with the 15's and the 17's should look about the same.
