Default Question about 90,000 mile service

OK so I just bought a 99 LS and it has 90324 miles on it and I don't think they got the 90000 mile service done, so I was wondering how much it usually costs to have someone else do it?

No I just mean how much will it cost to have it done, opposed to doing by myself.

well, I would only pay for part of the 90k service. I would only get the timing belt and waterpump done. If you go to a dealer, they will try and perform the entire 90k service which ends up costing a lot more. You can do a lot of the other stuff yourself, or not at all.

Check w/the dealer on that. I have, and I SWEAR to God, they told me to come back at 105k for my 99 Integra, for the timing belt and water pump replacement.

we just finished mine a while ago... 8 hours no problem. heres a basic price breakdown

Parts:
Timing Belt - $90
Water Pump - $96
Tensioner - $70
Tensioner Spring - $5
Distributor Cap - $20
Distributor Rotor - $20
_______________________________-
Parts: $301 (this is assuming highest cost direct from dealer, not online)

now there is more you should change... but that's the big stuff... highly suggested you do plugs/wires at this time as well.

you can bring it to the dealer and they will charge you about $90/hr and they CAN do it in about 3 hours... but they will ACTUALLY finish in about 8... and your paying for it.

a reputable shop can and usually will do it in about 3-4 hours and depending on the shop will charge about $50/hr

so your looking at about $2-300 + parts for a good shop
and your looking at about $650-720 + parts for the dealer...so about $1000

Is there anything else important that needs to be changed? Also, where can I get those parts at a low price?
