I need help..
HI, I'M LOOKING FOR SOMEONE THAT COULD HELP ME IN MI PROJECT. I'TS AN ACURA INTEGRA 98 (NOT VTECH) . I'M DOING IT TURBO BUT THE CAR IS AUTOMATIC, I HAVE A LOT OF THINGS LATER I WILL COME BACK WITH THE LIST OF PARTS. I ONLY WANT TO KICK SOMA ASS HERE IN pr WITH MY AUTOMATIC ACURA LOL
to be honest... the honda - auto tranny's in sports cars (integra) are well known for being tough pieces of shit to deal with. the more power... the more problems you will have.... personally i'd suggest doing a swap to a manual tranny or possibly switching over to a new car with a manual tranny already set up
edit: caps lock key is next to the "a" button.... push it until your writing is normal
editx2: Variable Valve Timing Electronic Control.... there is no H there... so please make note of it

Use our search engine, please.
I posted two links to shops that can assist you in strengthening your automatic transmission.
Hang on, I'll find the thread link for you.

There you go. Talk to these guys about the power level you plan on making and see what's up.
As a rough budget, I would expect to spend about $4000 on the turbocharging process and $1000 or so on the transmission / drivetrain upgrades.

h: It's nothing, really. I just remember all the times this has come up. I swear, we've got about 45 trillion of these threads. :chuckles:
I need to rewrite and expand the Integra FAQ... when I can find the time. :run:
But anyway... back to the issue at hand. :hsughr:

I got the impression that the transmission was the issue.
h:Keep us updated with the progress of your build, if you can spare the time.

And even though you registered a few months back....welcome to the board.
