Default new shocks?

I have a 95 GS-R and am wondering how long the shocks last on it? The're OE by the way. I got some new crappy tires and can't tell if it's just the tires making the car handle so poorly or if the shocks are worn out.

Thanks

Go push on the bumper, the thing should not be bouncing around. Physically look at the shocks, are they leaking ANY oil?(they shouldn't) How many and what sort of miles does the car have on it, high mileage or running hardor on bad roads will get you rapid wear on shocks. Why did you get crappy tires? You can get good ones for cheap, the yoko AVS intermediates and the KUmho's I have now are both very inexpensive.
