Default Trading in the '93 Accord for a '98 Integra

I'm planning on selling my '93 Accord and have been looking at a couple of different integras, both are '98's, 4-door sedans. I'm hoping it will be a nice change, a little more power (I believe the '93 Accord has about 130 hp compared to the 142 of the Integra, and the Integra is lighter) while keeping good mileage and still having a fair amount of passenger space, though it will mostly be used as a commuter car. I know this car is smaller, but for any of you who have owned or driven a 90-93 Accord, is there anything negative to expect from switching from an Accord to an Integra? Anyone know what kind of mileage to expect? I can't trust the specs, according to them, I should be getting 24-29mpg with my honda, but haven't gotten less than 30mpg out of it in over a year (since we had ethanol in our gas). Any advice or recommendations would be helpful as to what to expect.

Yeah, both the accord and integra I'm looking at are manual, I don't like auto's much. I've heard the 5-speed in the integra is very nice.

Depending on how the cars check out you might want to go with the more stock model...If you pay cash you may be able to get it down to 7 25 or maybe even 7 if you haggle and complain about a lot of things. They both look nice, the other sounds nice.....though it has unlisted miles. I haven't been in this scene much but that's just common sense to me. Test 'em both, don't look at which has more power and shit and go with your gut. There's really no way to know about either car unless you've known the owners.

1st car. The guy could have driven it nice(laugh) and babied it even with the mods and such, and the 2nd car's owner could have totally beat the shit out of it. You really don't know, but either way I wish you luck on your choice, I know when I get my GSR I was pleased beyond belief!!!! Also, if you keep lookin' you may find a GSR with decent mileage around that same year as well. It's totally up to you of course.

go for the second one, no question. you said it's going to be a daily driver, right? the stock car makes way more sense, and will be running on regular instead of premium. plus, it's newer and has airbags.

as far as the teg vs. the accord, the newer teg is about the same size as your old accord. yes it has more power, yes its lighter, yes it handles waaay better. it's more rev-happy, waaaay more fun to drive, and you will love every minute of it! and i think they were originally rated for the same mileage. check them both out at www.fueleconomy.gov
