Default is this exhaust a good deal or what?

ok, im thinking on buying a catback exhaust, so i decided to look for a used one, this one guy is selling his Greddy Evo 1 for 400$ with shipping. It has only been used for a year or so, i just wanted to know if this is a good deal on it? here is the pic below, he says that the stuff on it is not rust, just what happens over time to the pipes since there not stainless steel, is this correct? or am i gettin ripped off?

also what do you guys think about installing a catback? should i do it or get a pro to do it for me if its under like 50$?

well all the places i look are 550$ and up plus shipping, so im saving almost 200$ but then again, this model is older and could break at any time, but then again since im in canada shipping is a bitch and will be over 100$

yeah, $400 for a discontinued exhaust when there's a newer, better version of it out for marginally more money isn't a good deal. go for a new EVO2 if you want it.

400 is way too much for that exhaust. you can see it already has rust on it. i would go with a full stainless catback because the snow and salt is going to eat that exhaust alive in canada. i have an apexi and the pipe that goes into the muffler isnt stainless, and the rust has eaten a hole in the muffler piping. if you live in a place that gets a lot of snow, and therefore the town throws salt and sand on the road, i recommend a full stainless exhaust.

Don't do it. I would offer 250 shipped at most. Venture out and take a look at the WS2 by Apexi. I picked mine up for 418 shipped new. Go here before you buy any used part that could turn out to be a piece of shit. www.importrp.com W/regards to the install, you can do it yourself w/some wd40 18mm socket and open ended wrenches and a couple of jack stands. Piece of cake.

I have been debating between 2 exhausts: Apex WS Noir and the RS ExMag; but I read that the RSR does not use a cat (https://www.honda-acura.net/forums/s...19&postcount=7). Is this true? And where did you buy your exhaust?
