AT hatch back. I'm looking to buy one that has 50kmi. The guy is a mechanic and he said he buys car to fix up and sell. The first thing he showed me was the right front fender that he replaced. He said that was the only thing wrong with the car when he bought it.
The car is in excellent condition inside and out but has a "Reconstructed" title. I don't know much about title or cars. I really want to buy the car but need advices. What do I need to check out before I purchase? Is $5000 a good price? I noticed wind noise coming more from the back than the front, is that normal?

i'm not sure where you live, but i would guess "reconstructed" is something ilke salvage? it's probably exactly what it sounds like. you might want to take it to another mechanic for a 2nd opinion, just for peace of mind.
To be perfectly honest, I wouldn't even consider the car. Not because of the condition of the title, but more so the fact that it's an automatic. I don't know how you feel about 5 speeds but I can't really see the point in buying an automatic integra. I suppose it also depends on what you intend to do with the car too I guess. If it's just a means of reliable transportation then ok but as far as the fun factor, I would look at a manual teg. Just my 2 cents though.
I'm from Pennsylvania, but I can't seem to find the info from PA DOT. And I'd rather get a manual T, but I'll be the only one in the family that can drive it then. I just need some thing reliable that has decent gas mileage to drive commute. It's hard to find low mileage hondas/acuras in this area at an affordable price so I can't be real choosy as far as AT/MT.
i think everybody should know how to drive stick. i can understand it being hard to find those cars where you live. good luck searching. the civic gets better mileage, if you're only looking for a daily driver.
