my cat was bad so I cut it out. I have to make it up north for work and possibly drive it for 2-3 wks until i will be doing 4-2-1 headers and a new cat to connect with my cat back new stuff. I H E biatch!!! (this is all new and fun to me) When I cut out the cat i decided to cut the pipe and lo, it has a smaller pipe inside? on the header side? Now that my TEMPORARY piece of is pipe clamped on the darn thing rattles like crazy under power, this Makes the car really lame because i hate the noise. Please help.

 

I just found a wire spacer in the cut off. I will install this now but what is this? This is a lot of work i should have waited.
