i'm assuming you looking for an obd-1 so that you can chip/tune?

A p28 will work for you and it's cheaper then p72.

He dosent even need a p72 for a non vtec motor. Just get a obd1 p75, unless you plan to chip it right away then use whatever you want...im using a phearable.net chipped p06 ecu, i believe thats from a d15 or something? on my 97 ls

You want a 5 speed ECU either vtec or non vtec. Unless you have a chip with the proper LS map burned onto it for your engine, you are limited to only an OBD1 P74/P75.

The P06 is a peice of junk SOHC Civic computer... 92-95 DX/LX D15B7 specifically. Your car will not run properly with that computer.

Why do want to backdate, anyway? It will only make the car run less efficiently with no advantages unless you have the OBD1 computer modified for Hondata or similar.
