.... you get what you pay for...
To answer your question tho, i believe there should be a small piece of tube that you use to go from the SRI to the intake mani. Put one clamp on the intake side and one on the manifold side. If this isn't what you're talking about, post pics so you can be more specific.
this is what is talking about the two hoses are coupled together now that i put the SRI in and attached the new hose it is just hanging there. 1 hose is the vaccuum what is the other?
If you've connected the hose that feed into the head, that's the Positive Crankcase Ventilation hose. I think the other is the evaporative emissions purge line.
There ought to be fittings on the intake for both lines.
If there's only one fitting on the intake, buy a mini-breather filter for the PCV hose and disconnect it from the intake. Then, connect the evap line to the fitting on the intake.
Also, if you're in California, you'll need to swap back to the stock setup for your smog checks. The PCV mod is de facto illegal. :run:

I hooked up the two brackets like this (don't know if that's how it goes but it works pretty good)

And for the hose I took out the orignal metal tubes that the coolant and breather attached to, connected the coolant hoses together with a coupler and ran a new hose to between the intake and valve cover. I can easily reconnect the factory intake with this setup, but my intake came with a CARB sticker so I don't think I will have to do that.

The coolant line is the one below the intake hose.
