b18c swap
The B18C will physically bolt up to the Y80 transmission, but the shorter ratios of the ITR S80 tranny are what maximize the potential of that motor.
Using your LS transmission is a bad idea from the standpoint of performance.
In all honesty, I'd recommend turbocharging your stock motor and swapping to the S80 GSR gearset. I don't know Washington emissions law; you may have to go "renegade" and smog your car through a "hookup" if WA is as strict as CA.

EDIT: Wait a minute... is your clutch hydraulic or cable actuated?
I own a DC4.. and I get a little foggy on the second-gen Tegs.
h:But given your current N/A setup, there isn't an urgent need to swap transmissions IMO.

The GSR gears are shorter.
Take a look at the Integra FAQ Thread; the trans ratios are listed by year and by model.
Redline is a limitation of the motor.
And yes, the B18C1 and B18C5 motors rev higher than the B18B1 motor.
But you knew that already.

G3 GSR tranny is hydro. G2 is cable so you will need a conversion kit and convert everything.
So no, UNLESS you get the hard to find YS1 GSR tranny. This is the tranny that came with the G2 GSRs. Hard to find and make sure you dont get the LS version of the YS1.
Easier to go with the G3 GSR tranny, but cheaper to get the YS1...

u could go for a cable to hydro conversion or hydro to cable :eek3: either way its too much of a pain in the ass to go through just to get a Type R in there.... Boost as david said
