Default Bogs bad past 3/4

Well, I was messing with my car today (97 jdm b18) because as some know it keeps frying the distributors. With my phearable.net ecu I was told I dont need o2 sensors any more but always had my primary o2 hooked up. So I removed that thinking when I extended my 02 wires I may have a wire grounding out. So I cut them and sealed them off good since I dont need o2 sensors as of yet. I also re-soldered wires that were previously spliced to run this ECU in my car. Before I did any of this I had the original distributor in. THis is the first one, car totally would not run at all with this dizzy. It would idle but thats about it. After about 1k it would sputter, jump idle all over the place and stall out. A few times I kept cranking and it just wouldnt start at all.
Now after I did all this the car starts right up with no CEL...mind you this is the original dizzy that i thought was garbage. I took it for a 5 mile run and it seemed good, but seemed a little low on power. Maybe its just becasue I have not drove it for a week. That run was fine so I decided to go to my buddies house. The drive there was good, on the way home it seemed fine until the last 3 miles. At a stop sign letting the clutch out and stepping on the gas it bogged bad, then caught and nearly spun the tires becasue I stepped down further to try and move. it ran fine until i hit 5th gear (im always in 5th becasue the gsr trans on the b18b). Im going about 50mph on a highway here and step to go faster, as i get past 1/2-3/4 throttle it boggs really bad, let of and it picks up speed, step further and it bogs. Its like there is a sweet spot. once you get past this exact point on the pedal it bogs really bad.

Now im sending the ECU back to get checked but highly doubt this is the issue. could it still be my distributor? I have a free replacment comming but i was psyched that this actually worked.
Could it be fuel pump from cranking before when it wouldnt start? I was low on gas then, but not low enough that the gas light came on?
