Default Catback or Muffler?

Ok, i need a new exhaust, but since i wont be doing any major turbo/supercharge i doubt i need a whole new catback no? i got a 98 so im assuming the exhaust itself is in decent shape still, so i will probably go with a new muffler, anyone got any suggestions on a nice muffler? in the range of 150-300 max? i want a nice deep one, not a rice lawnmower one though haha just in between loud and quiet if ya no what i mean... thanks.

theres a nice webiste that you can go to with the top brands.

you can get some nice topa the line mufflers for like $220.00

you can also look up your car model for the exhuast system
plus the site gives you info on everything.

it is: http://hopupracing.com

awsome website

for just mufflers scroll down on the left and click "universal mufflers"

ok, most of the mufflers on that site, the universal ones, say that they should be put on a custom pipe exhaust? do you no how much that would cost roughly? and where could i get that done? also if it will be cheaper than a catback, shouldnt i just do that then?
