Default clutch pics and a question

the clutch just came in today (ACT XTSS) and the flywheel will be in next week (Fidenza). My question is should i install this before or after the dyno? My worry is putting it in now and then when its on the dyno and im pushing it....its gets ruined due to not breaking it in.....500 mile right? What do you guys think? Here are the pics:

Pics of flywheel soon

THANKS

Dyno will be fine. Clutches get ruined by harsh engagements. As long as the shifts on the dyno are smooth, it should be the same as driving it on the street.

I also recommend picking up an OEM throwout bearing. I used the one they supplied and now, six months later, it is squeaking like my old clutch setup.

Damnit... not to thread hijack here but I have noticed that my throwout bearing (I used the one that came w/ the ACT kit as well) squeaks sometimes....

I put the clutch in about 4 months ago.

What are you planning on doing about the issue schmoo?

*edit* Schmoo, PM or shoot me an IM so we don't totally derail the thread

The OEM piece is about $50 from the dealership. Part number: 22810-P21-003.

A squeaky throwout bearing isn't anything serious, it is just annoying. Unless it gets really loud, I will replace it. Otherwise, it will stay that way until the clutch wears out and needs replacement.

Inside the car idling at a light, you can't even hear the squeaking, but once you get out of the car or go through a drive-thru, you can hear it pretty well. It goes away with a light pressure on the clutch and it seems to come and go, so it doesn't really bother me other than the fact that the clutch was just put in and it shouldn't do this.

Oh, I greased the shit out of the input shaft, bearing and slave cylinder contact surface and it still started squeaking. Aftermarket throwout bearings suck.

I've had my ACT clutch with the ACT throwout bearing in since march of last year and I have no squeaking as of yet.

doesn't mean it won't happen though.
