Well, after months and months of trying to work the kinks out in my car, I'm at an impasse. Rather than try to surgically try to fix whatever small insignificant part is causing me tons of headaches in my head, I'm looking to replace the whole thing with an aftermarket setup. I know that both Gude and JG have packages (although JG's don't come with cams), but I'm looking for all of my options, as well as opinions. I'd like to know which companies are good, as well as which to avoid.
I'm running 6 pounds of boost right now, with a booster pump and regulator. Future plans call for an ECM and injector switch though. The CR is right around 8.5:1, with an 81.5mm bore. I'm looking for a mild-mid job, from a company excellent in customer service. I've been boned several times ordering from retailers, and from shops, and I'd like to avoid that at all costs.
