Default b18b question

i have a 91' ls integra. i bought it recently and i guess they swapped out the motor because the original one was having problems and whatevers so now theres the b18b motor instead of the b18a1. so when i go get an oil change and what not from the shop should i be informing them about the different motor or should all the maintinence parts be the same?

I thought they are both the same besides the higher hp and torque? I think the oil change at least would be the same. All they do is drain oil change filter then replace both, don't think it really matters. For tune-ups I'd inform them

i would inform them regardless.. just for liability purposes... it's not too big of a deal... most of the parts are the same... and dude honestly.... start doing your own oil changes... 10 minutes in your garage saves you $30 lol...

yeah but if your changing your oil w/ full synthetic it's about $60... and you can buy a case for $35 and a filter for another $10ish.... so your still saving good money and getting even more oil for your $.... so take that!
