hey, im looking into type-r's and was wondering how you guys felt about parking in public parking lots. i know its a taboo, but alot of type-r's seem to be daily drivers and how is it possible to avoid parking in public places. do you guys do it and how often if you guys do? thnx

ITR's are over rated. keep your GSR-- it's a better DD-- though it still runs a great risk of being stolen

Sure, all the time. Preferably in a highly visible place (if at night, well lit too).

buy a police boot on ebay and stick it on there anytime you park :crazyr:

I'm 21 with a clean driving record. It's about $3200 a year for full coverage with state farm.

Edit: Last checked on Progressive I got quoted ~$2050 a year.

yep my civic type r just got broken into last night in my apartment complex, its fucked up bad.... and i was parked outside my door under a light. lucky they were just going for everything else in the car and didnt pop the hood.
