Default rebuilding caliper?

I rebuit my rear caliper last night. Went pretty well. my only question was that there was this little o ring in the kit and I'm not sure where it is supposed to go. Its rubber and about 2mm thick and 10mm across.

The kit included the main piston seal and boot, boots for guide pins, the two copper washers for the brake line, and this o-ring.

yeah I've gotten pretty good at it now.

the first time I ended up JBwelding it over the top.
The second time it took me over 30 minutes and then this most recent time it only took me like 2 minutes.

The best way to do it is to slide the boot down past the groove so its at the very bottom of the piston. The trick is to start in the back and work it around to front [carefully]using your screwdriver.
