I have recently purchased a 1997 acura integra ls and every time I turn the cd player on it reads error on the screen and the anti-theft button is blinking. A buddy recently told me that I need some sort of security code and I was wondering how I could go about getting that. I purchased this car from a private dealer who was just as lost as I was when I asked him about it. Any help would be greatly appreciated

 

Search for this, it's been covered 2 times in the past two weeks at least.

 

you need to remove the radio and find the serial # on the back of it. then call or drive over to any acura dealer and give him the serial # and they will give you the code. you may need to go in person to show proof of ownership of the car. you will need the parts dept.
