Im still a little confused by this water thing... what exactly are you hearing? I've never really heard of water getting inside the exhaust.

Are you aware that burning any hydro-carbon (gasoline) produces water vapor, which will condense inside your exhaust when it is cold. This is why when its cold out you will see water dripping out the back of peoples exhausts.

I didn't realize there had been another reply on this thread...oops!


Anyways, the water in the exhaust (I'm thinking) might be the gasket at the bottom of my header to my cat...I'm not sure. But it sounds kinda rattly...just like water is going through my exhaust. This is whenever it rains and I drive through a decent sized puddle....
