VIS or Seibon cf hood? or other?
I paid about 3 bills for mine. I one the auction on ebay for a stock one but it so happened that they listed a hood they thought they had 1 left of and so happens they did not. So 4 weeks later I still don't have a hood and so theguy said, look dude I have a GT Extreme that I'll let you have for the same price, cool? I was like alright...and he overnighted it to me. The condition of the hood is supposed to stay nice for yrs. to come, due to the UV technology incorporated into the construction and clear coating of VIS hoods.
550$ for mine shipped, i do have a jdm frontend so im sure they charged me 50$ extra or something.
^ i don't think Vis went out of buisness, maybe he just doesn't deal with them and made up that excuse why he can't get there stuff.
Contact this guy and ask him for a price, he gets vis and is awesome to deal with...

VIS I have the extreme gt the fitment is great. All lines match up great and I even put the rubber seal back across the front off my oem hood. Shuts tight and flush. I included a pic below. A way to prevent fading and sun spots is putting a couple of coats of clear on it. You will notice though when you do this that it will be "fish eye city" You will have to let the coats flash good then spray heavy to fill in eyes then sand with 1000 then 2000 and buff as many as you can out. you may have a few very very small ones for the final result but overall looks great!!!
