Sorry to hear about your loss bro. On the next alarm, yes a battery backup is a very wise idea. Something also good to consider is having a 2nd siren. Often times, they'll clip the wiring on the main siren silencing it. But if you can find a good spot somewhere hidden preferrably inside your car for a 2nd siren, hopefully that'll cause enough noise to scare them away.

i would look into "mini piezo" ... they are designed to be placed under the dash, and if setup properly can blow out ear drums... very small... VERY fucking loud.... especially in an enclosed area (like the cabin of your pretty little teggy). I've thought about doing it... but i'm just so lazy

I have that and it is very loud and annoying, but tolerable if you are a determined thief. (I would immagine)

well no luck and my insurace will cover me up to $1000. my copayment is $500. so im out $2000 plus $500.

yeah, the $250 price for the person who rats out their homies is just aimed at those crack heads who would do anything for drug money.
