Default UN-powder coating pipe

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...3AAAQ%3AUS%3A1
thats IC pipe already bent to spec for the GSR w/ my S2 manifold. 200 is a lot IMO for this pipe but it saves me work and chance of me messing up. ONLY thing i dont like is that its black. ANY OTHER car color, such as white red yellow, i think this would look good but mines black and theres soooo much BLACKNESS under there i think it might look like radiator pipe. anyways, can this pipes poweder coating be taken off? anyone know how to do this, if its possible!! thanks

Believe it or not my pipes were powder coated black. I'm sure they can be polished to a shine from their present state if that's what you wanted. I just spray painted mine the silver color right over the powder coat. I sanded them down a bit to give it a slightly rough texture, not like I sanded the black off, then just painted over them. Been on 7 months without a problem. You figure once they're in place, you don't move them around very much, if ever.

You can definitely paint over it, just can't dip it.
