ordered and on its way. I assume its a simple instal once the mount is off. i see some zip ties whats up with that
It isn't as simple as replacing a stock mount. The rubber OEM mounts flex, so they can be flexed into place under the chassis. The polyurethane prevents any flex, so you will have to lower the engine by the PS mount and tranny mount when it comes time to put that particular mount back in.
The zipties are used for the two lower mounts to keep them in place inside the OEM mount.
how well do complete kits such as hasports kits perform compared to stock mounts w/ inserts. the kits i see are around 300, while inserts seem alot cheaper

The only main difference between the two is the mounts have better reinforced metal and it will replace every mount, whereas the inserts can only be used on three mounts.
A full polyurethane mount kit should only be considered on a non-daily driven car because the vibration will drive you completely nuts.
that rear mount is a bitch to get to!!! it took me like....id say 15 mins to get the bolt going on my buds gsr when we switched to a type r trans....had to use a prybar and a small ratchet to shove in there and slowly tighten...so try a small ratchet with like a 1 to 2 inch extention...
