projector headlight w/ HID??

Default projector headlight w/ HID??

i'm thinking bout buying EURO PROJECTOR HEADLIGHT w/ CHROME HOUSING & CLEAR PROJECTOR HELO RIM and HID kit and put em together...

do they go together??? what i really want is HID kit but not w/ ma old stock housings...

help me!

HIDs belong in projectors made for HID. The output depends on the quality of the projector in the lights your looking at. I would bet the kit would have better output in the factory projector opposed to the cheap headlights.

What you really should do is a retrofit.

I would defintley not suggest a chrome headlight housing...
that suggest that it will be a reflection based housing, which will decrease the output of your HIDs, as well as blind oncoming drivers very badly...

+1 for retrofit, or at very least, plug and play HID kit into stock projectors.

And there's another issue to consider with aftermarket headlights... heat dissipation.

Usually, these aftermarket headlghts are made as cheaply as possible, with low-grade plastics being the norm. IMO, you run the risk of melting the headlamp housing due to the increase in temperature with either an HID retrofit or the "9006 conversion".

HID burns cooler than halogen, so melting wouldn't be an issue. But the suckyness of the output definatly would be.
